We have a big announcement from Cornelia and filmmaker Guillermo del Toro: the novelization of Pan’s Labyrinth that they’ve collaborated on, will be published in the US and UK on July 2nd, 2019! Cornelia worked with del Toro on The Labyrinth of the Faun for several years, exchanging drafts and notes. Alongside the novelization of his story, Cornelia also wrote nearly a dozen short stories, offshoots of the original tale often about characters on the periphery, which expand upon motifs from the original.
Hey, booklovers! There's a lot happening in Cornelia's writing world. She's working on the last few chapters, nearing the end of Reckless: The Islands of the Fox...the MirrorWorlders are keeping her in suspense!
The Wild Chicks and The Wild Chicks: Class Trip come out on May 18th of this year, and we can't wait for you to dive into this fun middle-grade series. For a more-adult read, Cornelia's novelization of Pan's Labyrinth, on which she collaborated with filmmaker and friend Guillermo del Toro, will be out with Harper Collins next year.
There's also a new MirrorWorld story coming out with Cornelia's UK press, Pushkin: her novella The Glass of Lead and Gold will be out in September. It's a beautiful story set in an alternate London, and is full of magical characters you may have seen in the InkWorld and MirrorWorld stories!
